HMMS Program Management Office (PMO) Support
PMO Support involves MSDS management and Quality Assurance; ITLean, DIACAP and EITDR support for the COTS product HMMS (Hazardous Materials Management System.) We also teach classes at the POC and Users Conferences; develop and maintain various charters. We develop project plans for various projects for the PMO for effective communication, personnel management and progress tracking.
We present COTS development management issues from both the developer and user perspectives; QA requirements; Help Desk Support issues; approaches to those using organizations that refuse to adequately maintain the software.
We provide guidance on the interrelationship of IT Lean and the DIACAP (ongoing maintenance) as well as a new initiatives – specifically, a new Air Module that may be integrated with the current product. We also, manage various DIACAP phases such as the FRR (Field Readiness Review) and the COTS Design Certification phase. We maintain contact with AFNIC, DISA and others so we proactively know about the new changes with ITLean, DIACAP and EITDR, as these management tools are an ever evolving, moving target; as an example, there is an EITDR replacing tool that DISA is currently testing for USAF.
C&A for applications is no longer required to use the ITLean structure within EITDR.
